You can pick any yeast that is available at your locality. You have to check the instructions given on it and its expiry date. Always pick dry instant yeast and not the granulated yeast. Instant yeast is easy to work with.  It is important to proof the yeast before mixing it with flour. This process is done by mixing it with lukewarm water and sugar. Make sure to use lukewarm water, as hot water or cold water will kill the yeast. When you dip a finger in water, it is warm and yet it does not burn your finger means it is perfect for yeast. While kneading the dough, always add yeast mixture first and then oil. This helps in rising the dough well. Now let us see the ingredients required and steps to make homemade pizza base.
