Wheat Banana Tea Cake
Everyone love cakes. Right ? But do you know how many types of cakes are there ? There are more than 10 types of cake. Naming it as cake with icing, cake without icing, cheese cake, fondant cake, tea cake, sponge cake and few more. People across the world consume different cakes due to their eating habits and lifestyle. In some countries people prefer egg less cakes and nowadays being health conscious, healthy cakes are in demand. Fondant cakes and decorated cakes are baked by professionals for some special occasions. Tea cakes and sponge cakes are usually homemade for regular consumption.
Today, I will share Tea cake recipe with you all. It is Banana tea cake. To make it more healthier i made it with wheat flour instead of all purpose flour(maida). And yes, it is egg less cake. This cake goes well with hot tea or coffee. It can be stored in refrigerator for 2-3 days depending on the season and location. Lets check the ingredients and steps to bake it.

Ingredients:
- Banana - 1 ripe
- Sugar - 1/4 cup
- Cooking oil - 1/2 cup
- Vanilla Essence - 1/2 teaspoon
- Wheat flour - 1 1/2 cup
- Baking powder - 1 teaspoon
- Baking soda - 1/4 teaspoon
- Cinnamon powder - 1/4 teaspoon
- Milk - 1 cup
- Chocochips - 1/4 cup
Method:
- In a bowl, add chopped banana and sugar. blend it really well with electrical beater. Beat it for atleast 1 minute. Make it into smooth texture.
- Then add oil into it and blend it again. Then add vanilla essence.
- After that, add all the dry ingredients (Wheat flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon powder).
- Sieve all the dry ingredients, as it will make cake airy and remove solid particles.
- Blend the mixture, then add milk in batches.
- Keep adding little milk and blend it.
- At the end add chocochips, and mix it with spatula.
- Greese the cake mold with oil or butter. Then add cake mix into it.
- Add some more chocochips on the top.
- Bake the cake in preheated oven for 35-40 minutes at 160 degree.
- Cool the cake completely then demold it. Cut it into pieces and store in refrigerator.
- Eat it with hot tea or coffee.
