Spring Roll Wrappers or Spring Roll Sheets is not famous among home cooks. Though it is an easy recipe, people are not aware about the right method to cook and store it. The wait is over as i will share with you easy and correct way of making spring roll sheets at home. Once you learn it, you can make it for any upcoming festivals or occasions. Your family will drool over it as it will be as tasty and crispy as in any restaurant while more hygienic than eaten anywhere outside.

They can be used in making many food items. They are used to make spring rolls, frankies, chinese samosas, punjabi samosas. These wrappers can be made at home with minimum ingredients required. Now you do not need to but it from stores or go out to eat it. Make sheets at home and store it in a zip-lock or airtight bag for at least a week in a refrigerator.You can make different stuffing of your choice such as potato stuffing, potato cheese, vegetables, noodles, mexican stuffing and so on. It can either be deep fried or baked. Lets look at the ingredients and steps to make it. 

Preparation Time: 40-45 mins
Cooking time: 10-15 mins

Ingredients:
  • Maida(refined flour) - 1 cup
  • Salt - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Cooking Oil - 1 1/2 tablespoon
  • Water - 3/4 cup
Spring Roll Sheets 
Method:
  1. In a bowl, add maida(refined flour), add salt and mix it well. 
  2. Add oil and mix it well, it should bind flour. 
  3. Add water little by little and knead a soft dough.
  4. Let it rest for atleast 20 minutes.
  5. After 20 minutes, knead dough again for 2 minutes. Divide dough into small equal portions.
  6. Make two small rotis of 3 inch diameter. both the rotis should be eual in size. 
  7. Apply oil to both the rotis, oil should be applied well, not leaving any corner dry. Sprinkle some dry maida on one of the roti.
  8. Put both rotis on eachother such that oily part remains inside.
  9. Now roll out rotis into large and very thin rotis.
  10. Make sure to flip rotis on both the side and keep rolling.
  11. Heat tawa on lowest flame, Apply some oil on tawa.
  12. Put roti on tawa and cook on each side for 10-20 seconds on each side. 
  13. Rotis should be white and very soft. Do not let it get red.
  14. Let it cook for a minute. Then separate both rotis from eachother.
  15. Spring roll wrappers are ready.
Special Note: Please make sure you strictly follow the instruction mentioned in pink color. They are the most important steps.
